Best selling contour bra, really great for everyday comfort
This is a fantastic shape for all but we do find that is particularly great for the young ones. We have so many young girls coming through the door now, who are all 6- 8F’s and G's. Because they are so young, we don't love putting them in underwires but when they are so small around the back and heavy in the front there's not a lot we can do but get a great fitting UW for them. That has been tricky as well. It actually took us an awful long time to find a contour in this size range that fit beautifully. The problem that we ran into over and over again was the fact that so many of the contour bras were just too long through the cup. Because the young ones grow so rapidly, they are naturally very firm and high and that bust line does not relax into a longer style contour cup. The very special thing about Memoir is the way the top of the cup is designed. You can see that is more of a half circle shape so it forms really beautifully over high bust line. It's not overwhelming and it won't, on most gape.
Please don't get us wrong this is a great bra for all ages, it's just one of our biggest sellers for the young ones. For most, it is such a great shape, with all day comfort. It also has a little J-Hook for the option of crossing over the straps.
There isn't much that can go wrong with this one, but just a couple of things to look out for-
- Memoir is quite generous around the back, if you float between sizes, you may want to consider going down a size
- Memoir is a little shallower in the cup, if you float between sizes, you may want to consider going up a size
- For those who are longer busted, this may not be a great option, you may want to consider our Fantasie Starlight Contour bra instead, which tends to be a little deeper in the cup -Style-AA5200
